Srinivasa Foods and Feeds Private Limited is a core division of the SH Group, predominantly into the manufacture and sale of poultry feed and poultry breeding. Having been originally incorporated in June, 1983 as Srinivasa Poultry and Cattle Feeds Private Limited, the Company undertakes its business in two separate segments i.e.., the Feed division and the Broiler division.

The Feed division has an installed production capacity of 60,000 tons per annum on a single shift basis, whereas the Broiler division has the capability to produce eight million broiler hatching eggs. The company has made excellent forays into the twin markets and has over 30% market share in the poultry feed and about 30% in the broilers.

Srinivasa Foods and Feeds Private Limited presently manufacturers Whole Feeds and Concentrate Feeds for Commercial Broilers, Commercial Layers, Broiler Breeders, Layer Breeders and also for Emu birds.

Dr.T.Krishna Reddy is the Managing Director of the company and is the in-charge of the feed division which is the main growth driver in the company. He is a Veterinarian, with Masters in Animal Science and Nutrition, and Ph.D. from Kansas State University, USA, in Feed Science and Nutrition.

The feed formulations are carefully arrived at by highly qualified and experienced nutritionists after carefully considering the seasonal variations, birds’ needs based on their age and productivity, quality, price and availability of ingredients. Captive consumption of breeder feeds accounts for about 40% of our total feed production. Hence, quality specifications for purchase of ingredients are fixed keeping breeder requirements in view.

In addition to carefully selected ingredients, our feeds are supplemented with required amino acids, minerals, vitamins, enzymes and other additives required for optimum health, productivity and economy. Feeds are available in mash, crumble and pellet forms each suited for a specific category of birds.
